HAMMER71 is my personal art project based on real life, doing real things, and living to tell the tale. I've seen all around this world from serving in the British Army, to just a life less ordinary. I've had the experiences to witness the best and the worst in unique situations, and it was my introduction of life out of your own control. Leaving the army to become a civilian, or best you think you can, I returned to Canada for my civilian life to begin. I worked my way to the top of these mountains of life, making a name for myself along with the financial rewards that came along with that life. Giving to charities, good friends always around, and having a wife and son whom loved me so very much. Then life changes, that which you thought you'd left behind, never left you, it just hid deep inside and changed you, bit by bit. Like water to a stone, the erosion takes away from you slowly, almost unnoticeable, until it breaks through. The wave created washes you from your highest peaks to the very bottom of the valley drowning yo  washing away all you once had and loved and that loved you. It comes far faster than that climb over years and years to get to the top . It is not always drugs or alcohol that does this as I soon found out. The mind is a complex machine as we all know but pay little attention too, until we must. Living in a beat down pick-up truck for over a year, using the charities I had once given too. Loosing all we once loved and once loved us so much. From the top to the bottom and everything in between, this gives a person a perspective on every facet of life. Not the kind you can read about or see on TV, or the movies, or even online with some "Influencer" gobbing off to millions of vidiot zombies . A visceral type I would never recommend as many have I have met along both directions shall never come back from these pitfalls of life. Those of us privileged to do so, to have a little "life stuff" still burning in a broken husk of your former self, make the most of our TIME and not STUFF we collect to then disguard later. We choose a new path. One that has yet to see your footprints upon it. A new unknown, unsure, untaken and unplanned path. A path that every day, you put one foot in front of the next, hoping it does not fall through into some abyss. Thus we create a new path into this new unknown life. So now with that, and with the choice of moving forward and not back, I'm dedicated to creating unique art across diverse mediums. Blending digital precision with traditional techniques and anything in between worth a go. I Explore the world of artistic possibilities everywhere and anywhere along with meeting new people all along my way! This is my time, my new path and I hope maybe a little of what I do can help others now too. So, if I can finish this life in just doing my best me, my best art, and helping others on that path, then I shall die a happy and grateful man. So feel free to print off what you want here, or have me make something for you come to life and if you're able, help cover my art supplies I use/need for your idea, feed me if I'm where you are working or throw a roof over my head if I leave home overnight to get where you are no matter where that may be. Then anything else I leave up to you to give of which I split 50/50 down the middle with a local charity. That's it and that's how it should be and will be for me, simple and fun.
